Ordering Disclaimers & Shipping Information


Q. What if I have an alternate ship-to address?

A. If you are requesting that your order be shipped to an address other than the billing address on your credit card, this alternate ship-to address MUST be recorded with your credit card company PRIOR to placing the order. Your order WILL NOT be processed if this address has not been recorded with your credit card company. Please call the toll free number on the back of your card to record this alternate address. This toll-free number must be included in the special instructions box on our order form. Please understand that these steps are necessary in order to protect all of our customers from credit card fraud.

Q. Do I have to sign for my items?

A. Yes, a signature is required for all shipments over $100.

Q. Are shipping prices different for me if I live outside of the contiguous US?

A. Shopping cart shipping prices are valid in the contiguous United States ONLY. Additional charges such as, brokerage/duty and taxes will apply on all orders shipped OUTSIDE the United States and are the responsibility of the customer. Please contact Outlaw Customer Service (866-OUTLAWS) for pricing on shipping costs to all destinations OUTSIDE the contiguous United States.  For estimates on local brokerage/duty and taxes, please contact FEDEX/Customs directly.

Q. How soon do you ship after an order is received, who is the carrier, and what should I expect for delivery times?

A. We typically ship all orders within five working days after receipt and clearance of your credit card data. Depending upon the item, and your location, shipping time can range from 1-7 business days. The shipping carrier is also determined by the item being shipped; we use FedEx and USPS.

Q. Your shipping charge seems a bit high when compared to other Internet or mail order companies. Why is that?

A. We believe in telling our customers the straight truth and offering our products at a fair price that represents a true value. We could have easily raised the price a bit to offer the appearance of "free" shipping, but that goes against the Outlaws' Code. Instead, we thought that our customers would prefer to see the shipping charge separated from the product cost. When comparing the shipping charge to other products typically sold via the Internet or via mail order, remember that the Model 7900 is a very heavy amplifier weighing nearly 150 pounds and the Ultra-X12 Subwoofer weighs over 75 pounds. Thus the shipping charges have to be a bit more than what you are used to seeing for other, lighter products. As we offer other new products, the shipping charges will reflect the weight of each item.

Q. Will I be charged tax on my order?

A. All orders shipped to a Massachusetts address will be charged 6.25% Sales Tax.

Q. Do you ship to other countries?

A. Outlaw Audio will ship to anywhere in North America.

Q. If I do buy one of your products for shipment to Canada, do I pay any fees and taxes?

A. If you are placing an order from Canada, please use our online contact form for a freight quote. Once you receive the quote, you may place your order by calling (866) OUTLAWS or via our web site. When you place the order, please reference the freight quote you received. Shipping quotes are for "shipping" only and do not include any brokerage, duty or tax estimates.

Q. Outlaw's products are heavy. How are they packed to protect them during shipment?

A. We take special care to make certain that the packing material is strong enough to accommodate the weight of our products. We have also selected freight carriers that have a good reputation for careful handling of cargo.


Q. What happens if there is an error on the website with regards to product pricing?

A. Despite our best efforts, there may be times that the information on our website regarding a product, its pricing or availability is incorrect. Outlaw Audio does not guarantee that the information on our site is 100% error free.  We reserve the right to correct any errors or discrepancies at our own discretion without notice. In the event that an order is placed containing any error or inaccuracy Outlaw Audio reserves the right to refuse or cancel the order. If an order is cancelled after it has been charged, we will issue a full refund for the purchase price.

 

Return/Refund Policy

 

Q. How are returns, for products other than cables, handled?

A. Please note that should you decide to return an item for refund, you MUST contact a customer service rep at 866-OUTLAWS and request a RETURN AUTHORIZATION (R/A) #. Returns received without an R/A # will result in refund delays, a 15% restocking fee and are subject to refusal. Credit will be issued only for product returned in original condition with all accessories and original box and packing. When a request is made to return a product under our 30-day money back guarantee, we will arrange for return shipping at our expense* and we will refund you the purchase price for that product(s).

Outlaw Audio, at their discretion, reserves the right to implement a 15% restocking fee; some examples include, but are not limited to: damage beyond reasonable wear and tear, smoking/odor related damage, and undeliverable shipments. In addition, refunds for refused or undeliverable shipments, will have the original cost of shipping deducted from the final refund.

*Exceptions to this policy:

Returns from outside the contiguous U.S. will be shipped back to our designated warehouse at the customers expense, once received and inspected, the standard U.S. ground rate only will be refunded along with the original purchase price (any duties, taxes and brokerage fee paid will not be refunded).

Free-Shipping Promotions. All purchases that qualify for a Free-Shipping Promotion will be refunded the purchase price less the cost of ground shipping. An Outlaw Customer Service Representative will provide you with a return shipping label(s) at no charge (contiguous U.S. only).

In order to receive a full refund of the purchase price, the product must be returned in original condition, all packing materials and accessories must be included with the original product return. The value of any missing items will be deducted from the refund amount on all returns.

 

Q. Why are cables not included in your 30-day trial period?

A. Cables are FINAL SALE and are NOT RETURNABLE even when included in a package with other electronics. If you return a multiple-product package, you will only be credited for the non-cable portion. We hope you understand that our cost structure for cable fulfillment makes it impossible for us to offer a return option and still make these cables available at such an excellent value.

Q. What happens if I only wish to return part of a combo deal?

A. If you order a discounted combination package such as a pre-amplifier/amplifier combination and return one of the bundled products for credit, any package discount will be DEDUCTED from your refund amount.
